ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Estill County Emergency Management officials say they are still in need of supplies, food and volunteers to help clean-up from last week’s storms.
Damage reports continue to come in and they say 201 homes were damaged and 21 were destroyed.
Storm victims need grocery cards to buy refrigerated food, cleaning supplies like mop, brooms, buckets, laundry detergent, dish soap and window cleaner.
Clean-up teams will be out assisting residents with debris removal. If anyone is in need of assistance with debris removal please call our office at 723-6533 or message them on Facebook.
If anyone in Estill County has damage to their property they are asked to contact 606-723-6533. They need to document everything, they say it doesn’t matter how minor.
Emergency management officials say if anyone wants to volunteer they can register at the Estill County Fair Barn between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to be assigned to a crew.
The donation drop off Center is located at Main St. in Ravenna at the Helping Hands Outreach. They will be open Friday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.- 7 p.m.
