JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police with the Electronic Crime Branch say they arrested 44-year-old Gene P. Pendygraft on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Pendygraft was arrested on Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. at his Junction City home, following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed on his residence, where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Pendygraft is currently charged with one count of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor, nine counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and possession of firearm by convicted felon. Each charge is punishable by one to five years in prison.
Pendygraft was taken to the Boyle County Detention Center. State Police say additional charges are expected.
