Two New Flu Cases Confirmed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says that two new cases of the flu have been confirmed in Lexington, bringing the season’s total to four.

The Health Department is reminding the public that flu shots are available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Public Health Clinic located at 650 Newtown Pike.

The shots cost $30 dollars, and customers do not need an appointment.

Last year at this time, only one case had been confirmed in the city, with the next reported cases not coming until January.
