BURNSIDE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck says a Burnside woman was charged with attempted murder, after reportedly stabbing another woman in the chest.
The Sheriff says deputies received a 911 call about the stabbing on Sunday at about 2:30 p.m. and went to a home on Keno Road.
When they arrived, deputies say they found 29-year-old Amanda M. Ottinger with a stab wound to the chest. Deputies say Ottinger was able to tell them that 24-year-old Patricia D. McKee was the person that stabbed her, and that she had run off.
Ottinger was airlifted to UK Medical Center for treatment. No word on her condition.
McKee was arrested on Monday and taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
