Lexington Police: Man Carjacked at Gunpoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say a man was carjacked Tuesday night at gunpoint.

Officers say it happened around 9:15 in the 400 block of Woodview Drive. Police say the victim had parked the car on the street and was walking to his house when he was approached by two men. According to investigators, the suspects appeared to be teenagers or in their early 20’s. Police say one had a handgun, and the second had a larger firearm, possibly a rifle.

Officers say the men took the victim’s cell phone and gray Saturn Ion. They say the victim was not hurt.
