LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-If you happen to drive by Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington this weekend, you’ll see the mural honoring 15-year-old Trinity Gay is finished. We stopped by tonight when graffiti artist Dani Greene was finishing up. The 15-year-old wanted to one day win a gold medal just like her father, Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay. Her life was cut short last month when she was shot outside cook out restaurant. In the mural she’s in her track outfit holding a baton, next to the phrase “Pass The Baton.” Greene hopes this mural will inspire others to avoid violence.
