LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a tattoo led them to a suspect in a pharmacy robbery in Lexington.
Court documents say 36-year-old Shawn Hendron robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Tates Creek Road at gunpoint back on September 20.
Police say he wore a surgical mask during the robbery and demanded Oxycontin and Xanax.
The pharmacist noticed a tattoo on the back of the suspect’s leg as he left from the store.
Police received a tip from someone about Hendron and, according to documents, that tipster told them about a tattoo on the back of Hendron’s leg that matched the suspect’s.
