LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman accused in a deadly crash in Lexington last year is scheduled to go before a judge Friday.
45-year-old Krystal Chaffins was arrested Wednesday and released a few hours later on bond.
A Fayette County Grand Jury indicted Chaffins on charges of manslaughter, possession of cocaine, and DUI.
That’s in connection to an accident last December that killed 76-year-old Joseph Beemer and his 73-year old wife, Cynthia.

Hours after being indicted by a Fayette County grand jury, a suspect on Lexington’s Most Wanted list is caught.
45-year-old Krystal Chaffins, who is from Versailles, was indicted on charges of manslaughter, possession of cocaine and DUI.
Investigators say in December of last year, Chaffins was driving a pick-up truck on Versailles Road, when she crossed into the opposite lane and collided with another car.
The crash killed 76-year-old Joseph Beemer and his wife, 73-year-old Cynthia Beemer.
Chaffins was released from the Fayette County Detention Center at about 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday after posting a $13,500 bond
She is scheduled to appear before a judge on Friday.
