LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman has died after a two-vehicle crash on Hal Rogers Parkway Thursday morning, according to The Sentinel Echo.
The paper says that neither vehicle was carrying any passengers, and that both drivers were taken to Saint Joseph London for treatment.
Officers told The Sentinel Echo that a black Toyota Camry, headed eastbound, crossed the center line and hit a westbound white Acura MDX head-on near the overpass of Slate Lick Road.
The paper says the driver of the Camry was pronounced dead at the hospital just before 9:00 a.m. The identity of the victim has not been released.
According to the newspaper, this is the 11th traffic fatality in Laurel County this year, up from 7 deaths in 2015.
