STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – The sister of Desiree Sparks, whose body was found Saturday afternoon by ATV riders in a wooded area along West Skyline Drive, has set up a gofundme account to offset funeral expenses.
Danville Police are still investigating the cause and manner of Sparks’ death. She was reported missing last Thursday.

According to police reports, Sparks was said to be in the company of an unknown man who was possibly driving a dark-colored SUV.

The body of a missing Danville woman was found Saturday afternoon in a wooded area in Lincoln County, according to State Police.
Investigators say people riding four-wheelers along West Skyline Drive found the body of 22-year old Desiree Sparks. She had been missing since last Tuesday.
State Police say the cause and manner of Sparks’ death is still under investigation.
Danville Police made her disappearance public last Thursday. They said she had been last seen between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., leaving the area of Citation Drive in Danville.
Police reported Sparks was said to be in the company of an unknown man who was possibly driving a dark-colored SUV.
