Salvation Army wants bras for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Salvation Army will be collecting new or gently used bras for the homeless women in The Salvation Army’s homeless shelter and for women-in-need within the Lexington community.

The bra drive will continue throughout the month of October.

Salvation Army officials are asking the public to bring all donated bras to The Bra Drive Bin located in The Salvation Army Administration Building.

The organization says they are looking for both regular bras and sports bras for all sizes and body types; from pre-teen to plus size adult.
