STAMPING GROUND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Scott Co. Coroner has identified the victim in an early morning wreck in Stamping Ground on Wednesday.
The coroner says the victim is 36-year-old Wesley Vernon Gross.
Two passengers, Amanda Holland of Stamping Ground, and Patricia Davis of Paris, were taken to University of Kentucky hospital. Both are said to be in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
One person is dead following a crash early Wednesday morning.
It happened on Woodlake Road and Pea Ridge Road in Stamping Ground just before 3:30 a.m.
The Scott County coroner says a car went off the road and struck a tree, killing one man.
His name and age have not been released.
Two other people in the car were injured.
They were taken to the University of Kentucky hospital.
Police are trying to determine what caused the crash.
