EAST BERNSTADT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County man was arrested for reportedly being under the influence and approaching school children on the playground at East Bernstadt, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 27-year old Kameron Lunsford, of East Bernstadt, ran from the school property after being approached by teachers Thursday afternoon. Deputies say they found Lunsford a short time later staggering along KY 1376.
Investigators say Lunsford struggled with deputies during his arrest.
He was charged with a number of crimes, including criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct and public intoxication, according to deputies.
Investigators say Lunsford was also charged on a Laurel County indictment warrant of arrest charging flagrant non-support.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
