FOURMILE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Fourmile man has been arrested after deputies say he left home with his 6-year-old daughter and ended up firing a rifle into another home.
The Knox Co. Sheriff says that deputies received a complaint call about the man shooting at the home at about 8:00 p.m. on Monday. When deputies got to the home on Moore Creek Road, they say victims told them that 26-year-old Brandon Ray Burnett had fired a .30-06 caliber rifle at the residence. They also told the deputy that Burnett had his daughter with him. Deputies say there were bullet holes in a bedroom of the home.
Deputies were able to track down Burnett and his daughter at a nearby house. He was arrested and charged with four counts of wanton endangerment.
He was taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
His daughter was released to family members.
