OAK GROVE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Detectives with Kentucky State Police say they have made a second arrest in connection to a murder investigation out of Oak Grove.
The body of De’Andre Marquis Palmer was found on Carter Road back on July 20th. He had been reported missing to Clarksville police on the 17th.
Deqavion Marcell James was arrested after he turned himself in at the Hopkinsville Police Department on July 27.
Now, Troopers say they have served an arrest warrant on 19-year-old Leonardo D. Miller in connection to the death. Miller was already in the Christian Co. Jail on other charges.
Both have been charged with murder, robbery, and tampering with physical evidence.

According to KSP Deqavion Marcell James was arrested after he turned himself in at the Hopkinsville Police Department. He is lodged in the Christian County Jail.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection to a body that was found on Carter Road in Christian Co. back on July 20.
Troopers say the body has now been identified as 19-year-old De’Andre Marquis Palmer of Clarksville, TN. Investigators say Palmer was reported missing on July 17 to the Clarksville Police Department.
An arrest warrant in connection to the death of Palmer has been issued for 18-year-old Deqavion M. James, who is being charged with murder, robbery, and tampering with physical evidence.
Police say James is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. Anyone with information on James’ whereabouts is asked to call Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555.

State Police say an unidentified body was found on Carter Road in Christian County early Wednesday evening. The preliminary investigation revealed that an Oak Grove Police Officer was investigating a strong odor while out on patrol in a wooded area of Carter Road near Ghost Bridge.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., the officer found the body several feet from the road, according to KSP. Investigators say the cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is scheduled at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
