LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A new collaboration has begun between Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s North American Racing Academy (BCTC-NARA), and Alltech’s McCauley’s Feed, bringing high quality feeds to NARA’s training horses. The horses are used by NARA’s jockey students and those who are training for a career in the equine industry.

“Now thanks to McCauley and Alltech, our 12 off-track Thoroughbred school horses, will be well fed with McCauley Equine Formula Feed. This is a wonderful donation for our students’ continued success,” said NARA Executive Director, Remi Bellocq.

The donation consists of one ton of feed per month for the next eight months.

Choosing to partner with NARA was an easy decision for Alltech’s McCauley’s Feed. “We believe NARA shares our beliefs and values when it comes to feeding and raising horses to reach their highest potential, while educating the next generation of riders, owners and trainers on innovative technologies,” said Emily Downey, Regional Marketing Director for Alltech. “Dr. Pearse Lyons and Mrs. Deirdre Lyons, owners and founders of Alltech, are also delighted to partner on another venture they value: education.”
