CLEVELAND, Oh. (WTVQ) – The Republican Party of Kentucky announced Wednesday that Kentucky State Senator Ralph Alvarado (R, Winchester) will speak on behalf of the Trump-Pence Presidential campaign at the annual Fancy Farm Picnic, Saturday, August 6.
“Fancy Farm is one of Kentucky’s greatest political traditions and it’s an honor to be asked to speak on behalf of the Trump-Pence campaign,” said Sen. Alvarado. “I look forward to reminding Kentuckians of who Hillary Clinton is and why she cannot be trusted with the most powerful position in our nation.”
“You may not always like what Donald Trump says, but he’s going to tell you what he thinks,” said Alvarado. “I’d much rather have a President who wears their heart on their sleeve than one who’s going to lie to your face like Hillary Clinton.”
Alvarado was elected in 2014, becoming the first Hispanic elected to state office in Kentucky. He is Vice-Chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee in Kentucky’s state Senate, and is an advocate for conservative policies on tort and education reform.
