NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A new beginning for an organization that helps children and families dealing with trauma.
The Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth is relocating from Woodford County to Jessamine County.
It offers services for young people with histories of abuse, neglect or other family tragedies.
Attorney General Andy Beshear joined the organization on Monday as they broke ground on their new Nicholasville campus.
United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth helped more than 750 kids last year, and has a campus in Owensboro, and an independent living program in Lexington.
