RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff says a man is behind bars on DUI and heroin possession charges after being found unresponsive in a vehicle on Wilson Lane.
According to the Sheriff, deputies received a call Tuesday morning around 4:30 a.m. about a man in a vehicle on Wilson Lane.
When they arrived, deputies say they found 38-year-old Kenneth Breedlove asleep in his car, parked in the middle of Wilson Lane with a needle in his lap, along with a plastic spoon containing water and a filter.
When Breedlove was awakened, deputies say he admitted he had snorted Percocet and “shot up” heroin. Deputies say the discovered heroin in Breedlove’s vehicle after a search.
Breedlove was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Berea for treatment and then taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.
He has been charged with DUI and possession, along with other charges.
