LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – University of Kentucky students could face a five-percent tuition hike next fall.
It’s part of President Eli Capilouto’s budget proposal.
That would take tuition from 5$,390 dollars per semester to $5,660 for students from Kentucky.
His plan also calls for a two-percent raise for faculty and staff.
The plan still needs approval from the board, which meets next week.
Capilouto says the money would allow UK to offer more scholarships and financial aid
