FRANKFORT, KY. (WTVQ) – The Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit says a Louisville man pleaded guilty this week in Jefferson Circuit Court to multiple charges of child pornography, receiving a 3-year sentence.
Ryan Edward Biskis, 26, of Louisville, pleaded guilty June 15 to 100 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography. He was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury June 8.
Biskis was arrested in March when cyber investigators executed a search warrant at Biskis’ home after downloading child pornography from Biskis via peer-to-peer networks. During the search, cyber investigators seized a laptop computer and a floor safe.
According to cyber investigators, Biskis indicated that he would download child pornography and store it on Secure Digital/SD cards housed in the locked safe. Once cyber investigators gained access to the safe, they uncovered eight SD cards containing hundreds of images depicting child pornography.
Biskis, who must register as a sex offender, will be formally sentenced Aug. 22.
