ANDERSON CO. Ky, (WHAS11/WTVQ) — The sixth suspect charged in the murder of 18-year-old Lexington teen Damycal Tre Bolton was arrested in Chicago and extradited back to Kentucky to face charges in Anderson County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Bolton was shot at 2 a.m. in October of 2015 at Eagle Lake Convention Center in Anderson County, according to the arrest warrant. Video of the murder aided the investigation revealing the six men played a role in the Bolton’s death.
Mathew Patterson Jr. is the sixth and final suspect arrested in this case, according to Kentucky State Police. Kendall Berry, William Edwards, Mathew Patterson Jr., Antoine James, Jordan Jackson and Kenneth Berry are all charged in connection to Bolton’s death.
Patterson, 18, has been charged with Murder and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, both felony offenses, in the shooting death of Damycal Bolton. According to online jail records, Patterson is being held at the Shelby County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond. Patterson will be arraigned Thursday.
