DRY RIDGE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say one of two men wanted in connection to a double murder was arrested Wednesday night in Dry Ridge. Investigators say 28-year old Eugene Edward Wade, Junior, of Shelbyville, is charged with two counts of Murder, Wanton Endangerment and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Investigators are still looking for a second suspect, 24-year old Devante Hall of Dayton, Ohio. State Police say Hall is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators say Wade and Hall murdered 25-year old Brandy Davidson of Stanton and 33-year old Devin Payton of Georgetown. Their bodies were found over the weekend in two separate counties. Davidson’s body was discovered in Wolfe County on Saturday and Payton’s body was found in Montgomery County, also on Saturday.
Police also arrested Talmadge Branham and Carla Hunt for reportedly driving Wade and Hall to Lexington and then washing blood out of their rental car.
