LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A burglary and two attempted burglaries kept police busy overnight in Lexington.

Police were called to Ferguson Enterprises at 2330 Fortune Drive just before 11:30 p.m. and found someone broke into the business and took the cash drawers.

They say they also located tools outside the business they believe the burglar used to break in.

A short time later, police received another alarm call to a neighboring business, Lumber Liquidators at 2320 Fortune Drive.

Police say it appears someone tried to get inside that business but couldn’t.

Then another alarm went off, this time at Ken Towerys on Old Todd’s Road.

Officers say, like Lumber Liquidators, it looked like someone tried to break in but couldn’t.

Police say they think these crimes might be connected.
