LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a 16-year old has been arrested and charged with robbing a Central Bank branch on Versailles Road early Thursday afternoon. Because the suspect is underage, his name isn’t being released. Investigators say 18-year old Adrun Bennett was charged with trying to hide the stolen money in an apartment on Cambridge Drive. Police say Bennett was also charged in an unrelated shots fired incident on Appian Way on May 29, 2016.

Investigators say the 16-year old had a bandana over his face when he walked into the bank around 1:45 p.m., showed a firearm, demanded money from a teller, got it and ran to a nearby neighborhood.
