LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Monday, May 16, London Police arrived at the home of Rickey D. Gross, to serve a warrant after the man failed to appear in court.
Police said, not only was Ricky carrying around drugs and a firearm when they arrived, but he also admitted to being involved in a burglary at the Wildcat Flea Market back in 2015.
When investigators arrived at the residence, they say Gross attempted to walk away. During a search of his clothing, police found a 45 caliber pistol within his front waistband, a pill bottle with Xanax, and a bag containing methamphetamine in his pocket.
Gross admitted to being involved in the 2015 burglary during an interview at the London Police Department, and was arrested.
Gross was charged with first-degree burglary, carrying a concealed weapon sans permit, possession of firearm by convicted felon, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).
