LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Hillary for Kentucky will host four election night watch parties across the state Tuesday evening.
The watch parties are set for Louisville, Lexington, Covington, and Frankfort with supporters, organizers and volunteers who have worked for Hillary Clinton in the Kentucky Democratic primary.
It’s been a busy few weeks in the Bluegrass for the entire Clinton family. Stops by the candidate herself, along with husband and former president Bill Clinton, and daughter Chelsea Clinton aim to give the candidate an edge in a state she won by a landslide in 2008 while facing Barack Obama.
She’s also hoping to bounce back from controversial comments on coal. In addition to touching on coal in Kentucky, Clinton has made raising the minimum wage, investing in education, and revitalizing the economy her major talking points during visits to, among other locations, Ashland, Lexington and Louisville.
