MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has scheduled a Public Information Meeting for the proposed addition of turning lanes on KY 354 and KY 30 at the intersection with the Hal Rogers Parkway in Laurel County.
The public meeting will be held Thursday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m. at the Wood Creek Water District building (1670 East Hal Rogers Parkway, London, KY 40741).
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project to the public with the current concepts and ideas that the project team has developed.
KYTC representatives will be available to receive comments and respond to questions. The meeting will be conducted in an open format, meaning that interested parties may attend at any point in the meeting’s duration.
Both written and oral statements will be accepted at the meeting. A tape recorder will be made available for those who desire to make oral statements, and a comment sheet will be distributed to make it more convenient to provide written comments.
Written statements will be accepted at the meeting and for a period of 15 days after the Public Information Meeting. Written statements should be addressed to Adam Knuckles, P.E., Kentucky Department of Highways, District 11 Office, 603 Railroad Avenue, Manchester, KY 40962, or returned using the postage-paid envelope provided with the comment sheet.
All recorded and written statements will become part of the official record. Once compiled, the meeting record will be made available for review and copying after an Open Records Request has been received and approved. All Open Records Requests must be submitted to the Office of Legal Services, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, 200 Mero Street, Transportation Cabinet Office Building, Frankfort, KY 40622.
