HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) -A Corbin man is behind bars in connection to a criminal abuse complaint involving a three-year old.
According to Kentucky State Police, the child was taken to the hospital after Knox Co. Social Services received a call from the school the child attends.
Troopers say the child had bruises and cuts on its face, head, chest, back, arms, and legs. The child was treated and released from the hospital.
Detectives interviewed the parents at the hospital, which led to the arrest of the child’s father, 42-year-old Creighton Hill. He was charged with criminal abuse.
Hill was taken to the Knox Co. Detention Center.
The three-year-old, along with two other children, were placed with other family members.
The case remains under investigation.
