LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky’s regular season finale against LSU Saturday could be a hot one, literally. Rupp Arena is having problems with its air conditioning, so it could be warmer than usual in the facility. A news release that was sent out Friday by the Lexington Center, advised fans to dress accordingly.
The HVAC system encountered an electrical switch gear problem which is limiting its ability to properly air condition the entire arena, according to the news released.
If things aren’t fixed by game time, which is 2:00 p.m., there will be no pyrotechnics for the starting lineups, according to the Lexington Center.
