LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A wanted fugitive fled on foot after being stopped for speeding on the Hal Rogers Parkway, says State Police.
Andrew A. Reeves of Nicholasville was stopped at approximately 10:45 a.m. on March 2nd, driving a stolen SUV. Reeves got out of the vehicle after being stopped, and fled into a nearby forest.
His identity was discovered a short time later, and Troopers discovered Reeves was a wanted fugitive for parole violations.
UPDATE (4:26 p.m.): KSP reported the arrest of Reeves, just after 3:30 p.m. on March 2nd. Troopers say they located him on Lick Fork road, in an abandoned house. While a nearby school was put on minor lockdown, Reeves is now on his way to jail.
