LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Firefighters haven’t determined the cause of a fire at a home on Mulberry Drive but say they’re surprised the home is still standing.
Firefighters say they got the call to the home at around 1:45 a.m. and arrived to heavy flames. The weather didn’t make fighting the fire any easier but crews say they were able to put the flames out using more water than normal.
They say no one was home at the time of the fire and no one working the scene was injured. An investigator is on the scene, working to determine the cause of the fire.
