You’re waking up to a very light coating of snow on your windshields in the Bluegrass regions with locally higher amounts of snow in parts of Eastern Kentucky. On average, I think we pick up between a light coating to 1.00″ of snow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for our Cumberland Gap counties through Friday morning. Be on the look out for slick roads as you’re driving into work or out on your lunch break. Highs today are expected a cloudy, windy and wet 39°F with overnight lows falling below freezing into the mid 20s.
Flurries should start your Friday morning. Friday afternoon we’ll call it partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 30s.
A much warmer weekend is on the way Saturday & Sunday! 🙂 !
