MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A portion of KY 2000 in Clay County will be closed beginning Monday, February 29 and is expected to conclude on Wednesday, March 2.
The closure will happen between mile points 0.5 and 1.2, in the Lipps Branch area, and will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
The road closure is necessary to allow KYTC crews to perform a slide repair.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect long delays, and to exercise safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted depending on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
