Wet-dry vote in Harrodsburg Tuesday

After Tuesday's vote, larger restaurants in Berea will now be able to sell alcoholic beverages with food.

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Voters in Harrodsburg are deciding today whether to expand alcohol sales to smaller restaurants and open the door to bars and retail package stores.

Voters will determine whether drinks can be sold in restaurants that seat at least 50-people.

Polls close today at 6pm

In 2003, voters in Harrodsburg approved the sale of alcohol by the drink in restaurants that seat at least 100-people and receive at least 70-percent of gross receipts from the sale of food.

Last month, voters in London went in favor of alcohol sales inside the city limits.
