RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board revoked the licenses of a popular bar in Richmond because of multiple violations over the past several years, according to the ABC. Jerzees’ liquor licenses were revoked this week and the bar has closed.
According to documents obtained by ABC 36 News, the bar faced several violations from the night a fight broke out in the business involving football players from the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. Documents show in a settlement with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, Jerzees’ owner admitted to the violations, which included allowing minors into the bar, selling alcohol to minors, selling alcohol to people who were already intoxicated and allowing the premises to be disorderly.
Documents show this wasn’t the first time the bar faced violations from the ABC, including for selling alcohol to underage customers.
