KNOX Co., Ky. (WTVQ) — Deputies arrested a man after a report of a possible meth lab in Barbourville, after the man had allegedly been eluding police capture since a December 16th drug trafficking arrest operation.
Deputy Keith Liford received information about 27 year old Nickolas Jones living in a Pitzer st. residence. Authorities arrived at the home and allegedly apprehended Jones while the man was trying to jump out a second-story window.
Deputies found ingredients used to manufacture Methamphetamine, suspected Meth, and several syringes at the residence.
Jones was charged with several counts relating to manufacturing Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies say two other individuals at the residence were also arrested, charged similarly.
Melinda Black, age 26, and Francis Powell, age 41, both of Barbourville.
All three are now lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
