LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ)- The coroner’s office in Anderson County says a father found his 21-year-old son dead after he crashed his car overnight.
Anderson County’s Chief Deputy Coroner says it happened around three miles west of Lawrenceburg on Highway 44. They’ve identified the driver as 21-year-old Justin Gregory Thurman. They say it was Thurman’s father who first found his son.
The coroner’s office says it doesn’t appear any other vehicles were involved. While investigators are still piecing together what happened, they say they’re not sure how long the crash scene had been there.
They say there was a passenger in the car who was taken to UK hospital. The accident is still under investigation.
Justin’s close friends say he had a love for trucks, and racing. His friend Kelsey Boblitt says, “Justin was a very free soul that had no fear of anything and has made a huge impact on a lot of us.”
