LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they are investigating a death after 2 people were found unresponsive at a home on Highlawn Avenue.
Officers say they were called to the home around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. When they got there they say they found a man and a woman “unresponsive” in the kitchen of the home. Police say they administered first aid and CPR, and were able to revive the man. The woman was taken to UK Medical Center, where she later died.
According to the Fayette Co. Coroner, the victim was 35-year-old Jill Marie Carrier. The Coroner’s report says that foul play is not suspected. The cause and manner of death is pending toxicology reports, that could take 4 to 6 weeks to complete.
Children were in the home when the two were found. They were turned over to Family Services.
