LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An arraignment is scheduled Tuesday for a man Lexington police say repeatedly raped a minor over three years.
Officers say 44-year-old Michael Buford Turley began a series of rapes in 2011, when the victim was in 6th grade.
Police began investigating the case after the victim told a staff member at school about the assaults.
According to court documents, officers found DNA evidence on the victim’s bed sheets that were a match for Turley.
He was arrested Monday evening.
