Police: Frankfort man shot in the back


FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Frankfort police say a man was shot after an attempted robbery Tuesday..

It happened on Landings Drive around five in the morning.

Officials say a man, 27, was sitting in the driveway when someone came up to his car, pointed a gun in his face and demanded money. That’s when police say the victim ran from the suspect and he was shot in the back.

The man was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center for his injuries. Police say he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.

Officials say the suspect was a tall, skinny, male with his face disguised.
