Deputies investigate truck theft in Madison Co.

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a truck theft and damage to a Richmond business that happened early Monday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an alarm at Central Kentucky Truck and Trailer on Colonel Road.

The Sheriff says video surveillance shows a white Dodge quad-cab pickup driving through the gate of the business onto the lot.  The video then shows 2 people, who were able to start and steal a 2005 white Dodge 1500 diesel pick-up.  Both vehicles then drove off, according to the Sheriff.

Investigators say the stolen truck is valued at $20,000 dollars, and the business suffered $10,000 dollars in damage.  There are no suspects at this time.
