FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) organization is recognizing 35 years of operation by holding a nationwide day of remembrance on December 3.
In Frankfort, a tree will be decorated with stars representing the lives lost to drunk and drugged driving crashes in Kentucky. Families are invited to take part in the ceremony. For those who cannot attend, however, the tree will be on display throughout the month of December in the front hallway of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet building. Anyone interested is welcome to visit the tree during regular business hours of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet building at 200 Mero Street in Frankfort. For additional information, call (502) 564-4890.
