Police: Teen charged with agreeing to hurt or kill someone for money


CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) –A teenager is accused of agreeing to hurt or kill another person in exchange for money.

The Cynthiana police arrested 19-year-old Robert Webber.

The citation says on Sunday, Webber and another teenager were at a First Stop gas station when a juvenile approached them.

According to the citation, the juvenile offered Webber 80 dollars to beat up another juvenile or 125 dollars to slip the other juvenile’s throat.

The citation says Webber showed off the butt of a pistol and said he would, “ Take care of it.”

Police say when they arrested Webber, he had a knife on him.  He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
