The Shops at Lexington Center announce holiday open house


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Shops at Lexington Center will host a variety of fun, festive events this holiday season.

Starting on November 21st, decorated trees will arrive at The Shops and will be for sale. The 29th Annual KHAKY Trees of Life fundraising event, benefiting the Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky, will fill the halls. The public is invited to purchase a tree of their choice starting on November 21st through December 24th.

On November 27th – 29th, The Lexington Christmas Show will be held in Heritage Hall. The Lexington Christmas Show will feature over 200 Vendors from across the region selling 1000’s of Christmas gift items such as holiday decor, crafts, handmade items, bath & body and jewelry.

The Shops’ annual Holiday Open House will take place on Friday, November 27th scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Activities at The Shops include a visit with Santa Claus from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the food court. Holiday music performed by Jan Hill will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Rahab’s Rope will perform from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. From 3:00p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Kids Arts & Crafts will be offered by the Explorium of Lexington.

In addition, The Shops merchants will feature individual in-store promotions during the day. A free poinsettia will be given to shoppers with $100 or more worth of combined receipts from The Shops stores from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., while supplies last.
