STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Powell Search and Rescue says for the second week in a row, they had to conduct a “carry out” on the Auxier Ridge Trail.

According to rescuers, they were called out to the trail Tuesday to bring a hiker out of the trail. They say the person was able to walk for part of the journey, reducing a 2-mile carry down to about one-half a mile. Search and Rescue members say the person did not require emergency medical services.
