No horses harmed in farm fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An office on a Fayette County horse farm was destroyed by fire Thursday night, but horses in a barn next to the office were not harmed as Lexington firefighters contained the fire to the office. The fire was reported around 9:00 p.m. on Huffman Mill Pike, which according to records from the Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) is Fox Hill Farm, owned by Parkland LLC.

Firefighters say the office was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. They faced an additional challenge of having to truck-in water because of a lack of fire hydrants nearby. No injuries were reported to humans or animals. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
