LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – London police say a traffic stop led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive out of Florida for a felony warrant.

Officers say 38-year-old Lucky J. Ross was stopped at about 6:45 p.m. on Walton Drive for a seat belt violation.  Investigators say during the stop they found out that Ross had no driver’s license and was a fugitive.  Officers also conducted a K-9 search of the car and found a bag of marijuana between the driver’s seat and the console.

Ross was arrested for the warrant and taken to the Laurel Co. Detention Center.  He was also charged with possession of marijuana.
