LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – The U.S. secretary of education is visiting Louisville as part of a bus tour around the country for the new school year.
Arne Duncan will stop at Jeffersontown High Magnet Career Academy and the University of Louisville on Thursday.
He will join a roundtable discussion at the U of L to discuss college access and affordability and tour the campus. At Jeffersontown High, Duncan will discuss the school’s Design, Build, Create and Lead academies.
The education chief was also in Louisville in April and toured an early childhood learning facility here last year.
Duncan’s tour includes stops in 10 cities around the country.
