OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say four people, including two children, were airlifted to UK Hospital following a bad accident on U.S. 60 near the Bath-Montgomery County line. It happened just before 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, according to KSP. Investigators say 27-year old Jeremy Cundiff of Jeffersonville lost control of the 2004 GMC Envoy he was driving westbound on U.S. 60. State Police say the vehicle left the road and hit a tree. All four people in the vehicle were ejected, according to State Police.
Investigators say no one was believed to be wearing seat belts or child restraints in the vehicle. State Police say Cundiff was initially listed in stable condition. A passenger in his vehicle, 24-year old Hillary Blankenship of Morehead, was listed in critical condition, according to KSP. Both children were listed in stable condition, according to KSP. Their names weren’t released because of their ages. The accident remains under investigation, according to State Police.
